Powerful Mind Counselling
Meet Diksha
Diksha holds a Master of Science in Counselling and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC).
She is a South Asian counsellor with over seven years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. She brings a grounded, compassionate presence to her work and creates a space where clients feel genuinely heard, supported, and safe to be themselves.
Originally from India, Diksha understands what it’s like to navigate life transitions, cultural expectations, and the in-between spaces of identity. Her lived experience as an immigrant and woman of color helps her show up with curiosity and respect for the many layers that shape who we are. She is mindful of how culture, community, and personal history all play a role in how we make sense of the world and she approaches each client with this lens, while recognizing that everyone’s story is uniquely their own.
She is especially passionate about working with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, whether that’s in their relationships, careers, or within themselves. Diksha believes that therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time; it can also be a space for insight, growth, and even moments of lightness.
Outside of the therapy room, Diksha finds joy in wandering through nature, testing new recipes in the kitchen, and spending time with people she loves. She also takes great satisfaction in organizing and cleaning — a quiet ritual that brings her peace and clarity.
