Powerful Mind Counselling
Meet Diksha
I hold a Master of Science in Counselling and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC).
I am a South Asian counsellor with over seven years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. I bring a grounded, compassionate presence to my work and create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, supported, and safe to be themselves.
Originally from India, I understand what it’s like to navigate life transitions, cultural expectations, and the in-between spaces of identity. My lived experience as an immigrant and woman of color helps me show up with curiosity and respect for the many layers that shape who we are. I am mindful of how culture, community, and personal history all play a role in how we make sense of the world and I approach each client with this lens, while recognizing that everyone’s story is uniquely their own.
I am especially passionate about working with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, whether that’s in their relationships, careers, or within themselves. I believe that therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time; it can also be a space for insight, growth, and even moments of lightness.
Outside of the therapy room, I find joy in wandering through nature, testing new recipes in the kitchen, and spending time with people I love. I also take great satisfaction in organizing and cleaning — a quiet ritual that brings me peace and clarity.
